The UW School of Social Work has launched the LEARN model for suicide prevention (Look for signs, Empathize and listen, Ask directly, Reduce the dangers, Next steps). They have family, teen, and school resources here: https://inthefor ro, t org/resources-for-families-and-schools/ on how to prevent suicide.

Joon (https:/lwww.joon.com/) provides accessible therapy for teens and young adults (13-24 year olds) in WA through their own app, which includes face-to-face therapy sessions, as well as skill building through the app, and monthly parent check-ins. This is a great option for families and youth who may find in-person therapy to be daunting or not feasible.

**The Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer of Joon, Dr. Amy Mezulis, was my PhD advisor throughout graduate school. I worked for Joon as a therapist throughout graduate school and can speak to the quality of care that is provided.
